quick dark brotherhood male armour 'concept'

The one thing I hate about the Dark Brotherhood armour from Skyrim is how 'lacking' it feels. The female version of the armour is so much more detailed (more leather straps/bits, etc) than the male version.
The cowl also feels a little 'tacked on'; the Nightingale cowl feels like it should belong with the DB set. (Although, it doesn't--it clips through the shoulder and neck parts of the DB armour, which is what keeps me from using it)

So I thought to myself, "hey, why not sketch out some ideas and see if they look alright?"

Obviously, I wanted to keep the spirit of the original armour set (don't get me wrong, I love the form-fitting bodysuit thing it's got going on), so my additions aren't that substantial. This is pretty much just a "here's what I'm thinking" sketch, just getting some ideas out there.

I also gotta admit, this was a nice opportunity to do a more 'proper' concept sketch. It was hard as hell to get the back sketch done, but I kept at it and actually got something pretty decent-looking. I feel proud of myself.
